Family ride

No rides last week (boo!) due to work and family commitments. However I did manage a family ride on Saturday, which is always fun.

We did just over 8 miles, with a refreshment stop at a pub for the kids at the half way point. The short distance did not matter. It is fun to be out as a family on the bikes, in the fresh air. The extra weight of a small person on the back adds a (slight) training element to the ride too!

Clare and I both have a Co-Pilot Limo Child Seat on the back of our bikes. They come with a Blackburn rack and clip off, so I can take the bike seat off for a non-child ride and not be left with an odd bracket hanging off the back!

These are great seats and certainly worth the initial investment.
